crazy leprechauns

In honor of St. Patrick's Day we decided to make leprechauns out of Pringle cans, felt, foam shamrocks, paper, etc. The kids liked being given pieces that then they could add onto their projects however they wanted to. Although my example showed how I used the materials, they were into doing it their own way which was great. Many leprechauns ended up with beards on their heads, arms everywhere, and "faces" on their chests. But that was just fine—creativity rules, not copying a pattern and that's what's important.
